Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid Model) Experience Required: 8+ Years Contract Duration: 1 Year Work Mode: Onsite (Hybrid Model) Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer for a contractual opportunity (C2C) with a duration of 1 year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Airflow, Python, AWS, and Big Data technologies (especially Spark) and be capable of building scalable and efficient data engineering solutions in a hybrid onsite role based in Hyderabad. Mandatory Skills: Apache Airflow: Expertise in workflow orchestration, DAG creation, and managing complex data pipelines. Python: Proficient in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code for ETL and data transformation. AWS: Hands-on experience with core AWS services like S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and CloudWatch. Big Data (Spark): Strong experience with Spark (PySpark or Scala), handling large datasets and distributed computing. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Airflow and Python. Develop and manage robust cloud-based solutions using AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. Handle large-scale structured and unstructured data processing using Spark and related technologies. Ensure high standards of data quality, security, and governance. Apply CI/CD practices for deployment and maintain monitoring/logging mechanisms. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with data cataloging, governance, and lineage tools. Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes for containerized workloads.
