Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun for a Senior Content Writer. The Senior Content Writer will be responsible for crafting, editing, and managing high-quality content to represent and promote the brand effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating engaging web content, developing and executing content strategies, conducting in-depth research, and ensuring all outputs are accurate and compelling. The role also involves collaborating with the marketing team to enhance the company’s online presence and conveying TTH's passion for high-altitude trekking and the preservation of the Himalayan ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


Research trekking routes, destinations, adventure travel trends, and outdoor-related topics.


Write high-quality content for blogs, trek pages, websites, social media, emailers, and marketing campaigns.


Create informative and engaging content such as trek descriptions, itineraries, packing guides, FAQs, and safety-related articles.


Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and brand consistency.


Collaborate with marketing, design, SEO, and operations teams to align content with business goals.


Optimize content using SEO best practices and relevant trekking/travel keywords.


Stay updated with trekking trends, seasonal treks, and travel advisories.


Manage multiple content projects and meet deadlines efficiently.


Repurpose long-form content into social media posts and promotional material.


Requirements & Skills:


Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably in travel, trekking, tourism, or lifestyle content.


Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.


Strong research skills and the ability to simplify technical trekking or travel information.


Basic understanding of SEO and content optimization.


Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress.


Interest in trekking, mountains, or outdoor activities is a strong advantage.


Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Candidate must have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in content writing.


Educational Qualification:


Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).


Additional Requirements:


Portfolio or writing samples related to travel, trekking, or lifestyle content (preferred).
