Responsibilities Research industry-related topics Write blog posts for publications Writing different forms (blogs, web pages, product descriptions, off-page content, etc.) of user-centric quality content for the brand Use the latest practices of on-page SEO while writing the content Proofread content to deliver the expected quality guidelines Collaborate with designers to conceptualise and brief visuals such as blog images, banners, and infographics to complement written content. Produce content that blends storytelling with SEO best practices, ensuring its both discoverable and engaging. Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitor content, and emerging topics in eyewear, fashion, and lifestyle. Proofread and edit content to maintain accuracy, clarity, and Specscart’s distinctive tone of voice. Collaborate with the SEO team to incorporate keyword strategies, fill content gaps, and align writing with search intent. Work closely with graphic designers to brief and align visuals (e.g. blog banners, product imagery, infographics) with written content. Draw inferences from performance data (traffic, engagement, conversions) to refine content strategies and improve effectiveness. Ensure brand consistency across all published content-tone, messaging, and positioning. Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Content Writer, Content Writer, or similar role. Strong background in writing for fashion, lifestyle, or consumer-facing brands (eyewear experience is a plus). Portfolio that demonstrates both SEO-optimised content and engaging fashion/lifestyle storytelling. Ability to conduct deep research using multiple sources and translate it into accessible, reader-friendly content. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with content performance metrics and the ability to draw actionable insights from data. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS). Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
