What Were Looking For

This is a sole QA role you'll manage both manual and automation testing across our entire site, ensuring flawless customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own the QA process for the entire e-commerce platform from planning to execution.
2. Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for UI, API, and database testing.
3. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing for new and existing features.
4. Build and manage an automation framework using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
5. Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure error-free releases.
6. Test across different browsers and devices for compatibility and responsiveness.
7. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
8. Conduct API testing using Postman or automation frameworks.
9. Ensure checkout, payment, and cart flows work flawlessly at all times.
10. Document test cases, maintain bug reports, and track resolution progress.
    

Required Skills & Experience

1. 4 - 6 years of QA experience in web application testing, preferably in e-commerce.
2. Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for automation scripting.
3. Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
4. Proven track record of setting up automation frameworks from scratch.
5. Solid knowledge of API testing, REST architecture, and database validation (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
6. Understanding of cross-browser testing, responsive design, and SEO impact checks.
7. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
8. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in performance testing with JMeter or similar tools.
• Familiarity with React/Next.js testing libraries (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Knowledge of AWS-hosted applications testing.
