Using our Capital Agenda framework, we work with clients to find answers to todays toughest strategic, financial, operational and commercial questions. We help corporates, private equity, governments, sovereign wealth funds, private and family businesses, and educational institutions with their key financial issues. The CCS include Strategy, Corporate Finance, Buy and Integrate, Sell and Separate and Reshaping Results, and are underpinned by our Connected Capital Technologies.Our key focus areas are - Investment Banking Advisory, Valuations, Modeling and Economics, Transaction Diligence, Restructuring and Turnaround Services, Project Finance and infrastructure, EY Parthenon - Strategy and EY Parthenon - Execution.Your key responsibilitiesTechnical ExcellenceRole purposeOwn workstreams on complex FS strategy and transformation programs and support Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) for investors and corporateslinking market insights to executable initiatives, guiding analysts, and engaging day-to-day with client stakeholders.Key responsibilitiesLead workstreams such as distribution strategy, operating model redesign, cost take-out, and CDD modules (market sizing, competitive benchmarking, customer/partner interviews, synergy assessment).Translate hypotheses into structured analyses; pressure-test assumptions with client SMEs and investors.Build integrated financial/operational models; size initiatives and quantify benefits.Co-facilitate client workshops; manage risks, interdependencies, and work-plan.Coach junior team members; contribute to proposals/PoVs and case studies.Skills and attributesTo qualify for the role you must haveQualification35 years in consulting or corporate strategy within FS/fintech; proven workstream leadership and stakeholder management.Exposure to CDD or transaction advisory (e.g., market scans, growth assessment, synergy validation) is a strong plusExperienceBachelors degree as above; MBA/PGDM strongly preferred.Deep knowledge in at least two FS domains (e.g., retail/MSME lending, cards/payments, deposits & liabilities, insurance, wealth/AM) and understanding of India FS regulatory context.Proven engagement leadership, commercial acumen, and team development.
