Job Summary:

The Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financial modules to meet business requirements. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of end-to-end financial solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate in Oracle Fusion Financials implementation projects (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Tax).

  • Conduct business requirement workshops and translate business needs into system configurations.

  • Configure Fusion Financial modules as per design documents and functional specifications.

  • Understand and Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs), test scenarios, and user training materials.

  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Coordinate with technical teams for integration requirements, reports, and data migrations.

  • Assist in defining Chart of Accounts (COA), Approval Hierarchies, and Financial Reporting structures.

  • Manage issue resolution, perform impact analysis, and handle change requests.

  • Provide post-implementation support and stabilization assistance.

  • Stay updated with Oracle quarterly updates (OTBI, BI Publisher, Fusion Analytics) and assess impact on business processes.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle Financials, including at least 3 full-cycle Fusion implementations.


Strong functional expertise in:


  • General Ledger (GL)

  • Accounts Payables (AP)

  • Accounts Receivables (AR)

  • Fixed Assets (FA)

  • Cash Management (CM)

  • Subledger Accounting (SLA)

  • Tax (E-Business Tax)

  • Experience in Fusion integration touchpoints (Procurement, Projects, HR, or Integration tools like MuleSoft).

  • Good understanding of Finance business processes, multi-currency, multi-ledger, and intercompany transactions.

  • Hands-on experience with functional setups, configuration packages, and functional testing.

  • Strong knowledge of Chart of Accounts (COA) design, account hierarchies, and ledger configurations.

  • Experience in Financial Data Migration using FBDI, Spreadsheet Loader, and ADF Desktop Integrator.

  • Ability to analyze and map finance requirements into Fusion configurations and integrations.

  • Knowledge of internal controls and segregation of duties (SoD) in Fusion Financials.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle Certified Integration Cloud Professional.

  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder, Process Automation, or OIC Insight.

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Fusion Middle
