Description
As a Senior Consultant at Kroll, you will play a crucial role in the Data, Analytics, and AI team, focusing on providing industry/sector solutions and building cloud-based automation tools. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying proprietary and industry-leading methodologies to process and govern data assets for clients in transaction or value creation opportunities - Implementing frameworks and models covering data strategy components such as data governance, data quality, and data monetization - Building and implementing cloud/on-prem solutions for data-driven decision intelligence, including working on complex ELT techniques and establishing a business intelligence layer - Handling large data volumes using the latest techniques and data tools - Working on buy/sell-side due diligence engagements and identifying value creation opportunities for analytics application - Managing mid to large size deals and ensuring smooth delivery on assigned engagements - Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams and coordinating between core functional and technology teams - Leading mid-market deals from an analytics standpoint and preparing demo tools for client presentations - Engaging directly with clients and demonstrating a strong work initiative, high-energy level, and ability to adapt to new challenges - Traveling as needed within the transaction advisory and mergers and acquisition-oriented environment - Assisting clients with building solutions using data-driven approaches and business intelligence - Working both independently and as part of a team, with strong financial, accounting, analytical, and communication skills - Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct Requirements for this role include: - 5-9 years of related work experience in Data Engineering/Business Intelligence areas - 4 years of experience working on MS Azure services - Strong working experience with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, and Tableau - Programming skills in Python, NoSQL, and PL/SQL - Knowledge of BI practices, analysis, visualization, and the latest trends - Experience in Merger & Acquisition domain areas - A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a tier 1 college - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word and Excel - Ability to adapt to ever-changing client demands and flexibility to travel as needed Technical requirements include: - Understanding of one or more industry/sectors and the ability to run business performance management techniques - Participating in discussions with management to determine data analytic needs and potential impacts on the buy-side/sell-side diligence process Kroll is a global leader in risk and financial advisory solutions, offering a collaborative and empowering environment for career growth.
