Job Description

Job Summary:

Senior Software Engineer (Senior Code Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software systems and applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure code quality and technical growth.
Participate in architectural discussions and drive technical decisions for projects.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to deliver features and enhancements.
Ensure software is built with a focus on security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address those issues.
Continuously research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
Contribute to continuous integration, deployment (CI/CD), and automated testing frameworks.
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Own and maintain technical documentation for the systems and services developed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Background in frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue) is a plus.
Experience in performance tuning, caching strategies, and distributed systems.
Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD), test-driven development (TDD), or clean architecture.
Previous experience in mentoring and leading small engineering teams.
