Job Description

Location: India/Chennai

Experience: 4 -5 years

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and the Axon Framework. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable cloud native applications, driving DevOps automation, and optimizing performance and reliability across distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage PCF environments using Ops Manager and BOSH
  • Configure orgs, spaces, domains, buildpacks, and service brokers
  • Ensure platform scalability, availability, and performance
  • Automate tasks like stemcell and tile upgrades, backups, and monitoring
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Concourse CI, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
  • Integrate pipelines with static code analysis, testing, security, and deployment tools
  • Implement deployment strategies: blue-green, canary releases, rollbacks
  • Design and deploy Spring Boot/Spring Cloud based microservices
  • Implement service discovery, resilience patterns, and configuration management
  • Integrate observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Zipkin
  • Implement CQRS and Event Sourcing using Axon Framework
  • Design orchestration with Axon Sagas and event-based communication
  • Work with Axon Server, Kafka, or RabbitMQ for message/event bus integration
  • Enforce authentication, authorization, and security best practices at platform and app level
  • Monitor system/app health, logs, and metrics
  • Contribute to internal best practices, templates, and reusable frameworks

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) / Tanzu Application Service
  • Strong knowledge of BOSH, Ops Manager, stemcells, and buildpacks
  • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST APIs
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Concourse CI, GitLab CI
  • Deep understanding of Microservices Architecture and 12-factor app principles
  • 1–2 years working with Axon Framework – including CQRS and Event Sourcing
  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools – Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Zipkin
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • PCF Developer/Operator Certification (Preferred)
  • Exposure to public cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP
