Job Title: Senior Chemist – QA/QC (Cosmetics Industry)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Chemist – QA/QC with hands-on experience in the Cosmetics Industry to join our quality team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of quality control, regulatory compliance, and laboratory testing as per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee QA/QC activities for cosmetic raw materials, in-process, and finished products
• Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological testing as per approved methods
• Ensure compliance with Gujarat FDA regulations and cosmetic regulatory standards
• Prepare, review, and maintain SOPs, COAs, specifications, and validation documents
• Handle batch release, stability studies, and investigation of deviations
• Coordinate with production and R&D teams for quality improvements
• Support internal and external audits, including FDA inspections
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to GMP guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of experience in QA/QC within the Cosmetics Industry
• Minimum B.Sc. in Chemistry (M.Sc. preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cosmetic formulations, testing procedures, and GMP
• Gujarat FDA approval preferred
• Experience handling regulatory audits and documentation
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in cosmetic manufacturing companies
• Exposure to regulatory compliance and quality systems
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
