We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Factory Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations in our fertilizer manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance, particularly with respect to FCO 1985 guidelines . This role involves coordinating with the production team, chemists, and microbiologists to ensure efficient and compliant production processes. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire production process for fertilizers. Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met. Monitor production line efficiency and quality control. Raw Material & Inventory Management: Source, procure, and manage raw materials and lab chemicals as per production requirements. Maintain appropriate stock levels to avoid production delays. Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries. Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the Chemist and Microbiologist to ensure proper formulation and quality testing of products. Supervise production staff and ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all operations adhere to Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985 and other applicable regulations. Prepare and maintain detailed reports related to production, raw materials, quality checks, and regulatory compliance. Operational Excellence: Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Suggest process improvements for increased efficiency and reduced cost.
