Senior Centre Manager - Microfinance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day microfinance operations at the assigned centre(s).
• Ensure adherence to lending policies, group formation norms, and credit discipline.
• Conduct and monitor group meetings, loan disbursements, and collections.
• Review daily collection reports and ensure timely deposit of repayments.

2. Portfolio & Risk Management:

• Maintain healthy portfolio quality by minimizing PAR (Portfolio at Risk) and defaults.
• Conduct regular client and centre visits to monitor performance and address issues.
• Ensure compliance with credit appraisal and documentation processes.
• Identify and mitigate operational and credit risks.

3. Business Growth:

• Achieve disbursement and recovery targets as per branch/area goals.
• Plan and execute business expansion within the assigned area.
• Identify new market opportunities and promote financial inclusion.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise, guide, and train Field Officers / Centre Managers under supervision.
• Conduct performance reviews and build team capability.
• Ensure discipline, motivation, and adherence to field protocols.

5. Client Relationship & Community Engagement:

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
• Address client grievances promptly and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Promote awareness on financial literacy, savings, and responsible borrowing.

6. Compliance & Reporting:

• Ensure adherence to all operational, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Area/Branch Manager.
• Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
