Job Title: Senior Chef de Partie (Continental)

Department: Kitchen
Reports to: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Location: [Restaurant

Job Summary

The Senior Chef de Partie (Continental) is responsible for managing the continental section of the kitchen, ensuring that high-quality dishes are prepared and served according to standards. This role involves supervising junior chefs, maintaining hygiene and safety, and contributing to menu development under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present continental dishes to the highest standard.
  • Supervise and train Commis Chefs and Demi CDPs within the section.
  • Ensure all food production meets hotel/restaurant standards in quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Assist in the development of new recipes and seasonal menu items.
  • Monitor portion control, waste, and food costs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compliance with HACCP and FSSAI guidelines.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Coordinate with service staff to ensure timely delivery of dishes.
  • Support Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations and take charge in their absence.
  • Uphold safety standards and enforce kitchen discipline.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management.
  • 4–6 years of experience in continental cuisine, with at least 2 years as CDP or Senior CDP in a reputed hotel/restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of continental cooking techniques, sauces, grills, and plating.
  • Leadership and training abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
