Senior Buyer

Role Overview: As a Senior Buyer or Lead Buyer in the mechanical, electrical, static, rotary, and instrumentation fields, you will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies to optimize costs and manage capacity. You will negotiate contracts with suppliers and wholesalers to ensure the best price and service. Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers will be crucial for long-term supply. Additionally, you will analyze current and future buying trends, manage risks associated with supply contracts, and communicate and resolve supply issues. Key Responsibilities: - Developing and executing purchasing strategies, including cost optimization and capacity management - Negotiating contracts with suppliers and wholesalers to secure the best price and service - Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers for long-term supply - Researching and analyzing current and future buying trends, markets, and styles - Assessing, managing, and mitigating risks associated with supply contracts - Communicating and resolving supply issues, collaborating with other departments to meet purchasing needs - Collaborating with various teams to ensure project procurement activities are coordinated - Leading the tender process, identifying bidders, and analyzing offers Qualifications Required: - Experience in project procurement and impact purchase from manufacturing industries, with 4 to 19 years of experience - Familiarity with industries such as oil and gas, mining and metals, renewable energy, power, and manufacturing companies for electrical plants - Total work experience of 5 years preferred Additional Company Details: The company offers benefits such as food provision, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund.
