As a Senior Buyer or Lead Buyer in the field of Mechanical, Electrical, Static, Rotary, and Instrumentation procurement within manufacturing industries, you will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies. Your role will involve negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure the best price and service, while also building and maintaining long-term relationships with them. You will be expected to analyze current and future buying trends, markets, and styles to optimize costs and manage capacity effectively. It will be crucial for you to assess, manage, and mitigate risks associated with supply contracts and agreements. Effective communication and collaboration with various teams are essential to resolving supply issues and meeting purchasing needs. In this role, you will lead the tender process by identifying bidders and analyzing offers to ensure project procurement activities are aligned. The industries you will primarily work with include Oil and Gas, Mining and Metals, Renewable Energy, Power, and Manufacturing companies specializing in electrical plants. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as provided food, health insurance, leave encashment, life insurance, and provident fund. The work schedule is during morning shifts, and there are additional incentives like performance bonuses and yearly bonuses. The ideal candidate should have a total of 5 years of work experience, with a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 19 years of experience in procurement roles.
