Senior Buyer

Role Overview: Marvell is seeking a Senior Buyer to join the Indirect Procurement team in India. As a Senior Buyer, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across indirect categories such as IT, professional services, facilities, and capital equipment. Your role will involve developing and implementing category strategies to drive cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and execute regional and global sourcing projects across indirect spend categories. - Develop and implement category strategies to drive cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, IT, Finance, Facilities) to align procurement strategies with business needs. - Conduct supplier market research, RFPs/RFQs, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce, or related field. - 5+ years of procurement experience, including 3+ years in indirect procurement within a semiconductor or high-tech environment. - Proven experience in leading regional and global sourcing projects. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and project management skills.
