Senior Business Development Officer

As a Senior Business Development Officer at our company located in Udhna Darwaja, Surat, your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and increase market share. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and industry research. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders will be crucial, as you lead negotiations and close high-value deals. Collaborating with marketing, product, and operations teams, you will work towards delivering customer-focused solutions. Your role will also involve analysing sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to adapt strategies, and preparing regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline health. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred) along with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry. Strong business acumen, a results-driven approach, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office is required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel as required is also expected.
