Role Overview

Senior Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and manage a high-performance sales team in the region.


  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with leading architects and interior designers.


  • Understand lighting concepts, effects, and design philosophy to communicate with clients effectively.


  • Identify new business opportunities and penetrate deeper into the regional market.


  • Represent Radical Illumination in design discussions, presentations, and concept meetings.


  • Collaborate closely with internal design, supply, and audit teams to deliver seamless project execution.


  • Be willing to travel across the state and occasionally to other cities for client meetings and presentations.


  • Contribute to establishing Radicals brand presence without relying on traditional marketing.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Minimum

    5+ years

    of experience in architectural lighting, high-end building materials, or interior design business development.


  • Proven experience in

    setting up and managing sales teams

    .


  • Existing relationships with

    leading architects and designers

    in Pune/Bengaluru.


  • Exposure to

    international lighting brands

    is a plus, but not mandatory.


  • Strong interest or background in

    design thinking

    , preferably with an understanding of asymmetry, contrast, and architectural harmony.


  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


  • Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term vision to grow with the company.
