Location: Pune & Bengaluru Company: Radical Illumination Experience Required: 5+ years Industry: Architectural Lighting / Interior Design / High-end Building Materials Education: Minimum Graduation (Design background preferred) Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager who can drive growth in Pune and Bengaluru by building and leading regional sales teams, nurturing strong relationships with Class A and Class B architects , and deeply understanding the design intent behind architectural spaces. Key Responsibilities Build, lead, and manage a high-performance sales team in the region. Develop and nurture strong relationships with leading architects and interior designers. Understand lighting concepts, effects, and design philosophy to communicate with clients effectively. Identify new business opportunities and penetrate deeper into the regional market. Represent Radical Illumination in design discussions, presentations, and concept meetings. Collaborate closely with internal design, supply, and audit teams to deliver seamless project execution. Be willing to travel across the state and occasionally to other cities for client meetings and presentations. Contribute to establishing Radicals brand presence without relying on traditional marketing. Ideal Candidate Profile Minimum 5+ years of experience in architectural lighting, high-end building materials, or interior design business development. Proven experience in setting up and managing sales teams . Existing relationships with leading architects and designers in Pune/Bengaluru. Exposure to international lighting brands is a plus, but not mandatory. Strong interest or background in design thinking , preferably with an understanding of asymmetry, contrast, and architectural harmony. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
