In this role, you will be responsible for leading the business development efforts, driving growth, identifying new market opportunities, and managing a team of business development executives to achieve sales targets. You will take a hands-on approach to generate leads, close deals, and strategically position the company in the market. - Lead the business development efforts to achieve sales targets and expand market share. - Identify and explore new business opportunities across different verticals and markets. - Engage with prospective clients through calls, meetings, and networking events to generate new business. - Develop and implement strategies to improve client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. - Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. - Provide mentorship and guidance to junior BD team members, assisting them in improving sales tactics and techniques. - Build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring long-term partnerships. - Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective campaigns and promotional strategies. - Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and reports. - Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adjusting strategies to ensure a competitive edge. - Track individual performance metrics and report to senior management. - Continuously improve the business development processes and suggest areas for innovation. - Strong experience in business development, lead generation, and sales conversion. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate a small team of business development executives. - Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales cycle. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically. - Ability to work under pressure and meet/exceed sales targets. - High level of self-motivation, goal-oriented, and performance-driven. - Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. - Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment. Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development or sales. At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team lead role. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred). Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. Experience in strategic sales planning, business development, and closing deals. Previous experience in a senior BD or TL role is highly desirable.
