Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst at Ryan, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations and executing strategic initiatives established by the Property Tax Leaders. Your analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong technical abilities, will be essential for success in this role. You will be responsible for researching, reconciling issues, and maintaining software databases to ensure database and report integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Work with colleagues Firm-wide to gather required data and information. - Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with Property Tax Practice and internal clients. - Assist in training new Analysts. - Create and maintain databases to manage property tax data effectively. - Respond promptly and professionally to client requests, establishing strong client relationships. - Adhere to security policies regarding client data and documentation. - Aid in acquiring, extracting, and transferring client data. - Reconcile and analyze client data using tools like Microsoft Access and SQL Server. - Prepare final documentation of data projects. - Assist in installing custom data extraction tools. - Participate in committees, special projects, and other assigned duties. - Draft communications, presentations, and deliverables. - Develop, deploy, maintain, and assess best practices and policies. - Extract data from internal systems for analysis. - Handle and safeguard confidential information and sensitive material. - Resolve daily issues that arise. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred. - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with the ability to prioritize tasks. Computer Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. - Working knowledge of service-line software specific to the specialty area. Certificates And Licenses: - Valid driver's license required. Work Environment: - Standard indoor working environment. - Occasional long periods of sitting at a computer. - Regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and external clients. - Independent travel requirement of 15-20%.
