Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business goals into actionable solutions, and ensure product delivery aligns with strategic priorities and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business product manager to define the Product Vision and Product Roadmap, ensuring stakeholder alignment
• Translate business requirements into detailed user and system requirements
• Take ownership of the Product Backlog, ensuring all work is properly captured and prioritized without hidden tasks
• Facilitate the creation of high-quality requirements alongside the Product Manager and communicate them effectively to the Scrum Team
• Collaborate with the Solution Architect to improve product development strategies and align technical execution with business needs
• Align with upstream and downstream teams to refine requirements, resolve dependencies, and manage stakeholder priorities
• Play a key role in end-to-end (E2E) testing efforts, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensuring readiness for product go-live
• Serve as an SME during product implementation, providing knowledge transfer and guidance for stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Leverage expertise in backend systems and database management to ensure successful development and operational outcomes

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, preferably in SAP or enterprise-level software environments
• Background in modeling and diagramming tools, including UML
• Competency in API integration and related technologies
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies gained through practical experience
• Understanding of other Agile frameworks, particularly SAFe, is beneficial
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for product and project management

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Background in SAP’s ecosystem or SAP-specific domain expertise
• Flexibility to use Agile practices beyond Scrum
