Senior Business Analyst - P&C (Property & Casualty)

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with extensive experience in property and casualty (P&C) reinsurance claims to join our team.

You will play a key role in understanding and analyzing business processes within a large reinsurance enterprise, focusing on claims and ceded operations. Your expertise will contribute to refining product backlogs and supporting critical testing scenarios. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities

• Support business analysis and detail requirements for claims application product backlogs
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements
• Translate business needs into precise user stories and acceptance criteria
• Analyze and validate processes serving as quality assurance for critical scenarios
• Assist in solution design ensuring alignment with accounting requirements
• Facilitate sprint planning, review meetings, and backlog grooming sessions
• Maintain traceability and documentation of data flows and business logic

Requirements

• Extensive business analysis experience in insurance or reinsurance with 7 to 10 years of practice
• Strong expertise in property and casualty (P&C) reinsurance claims and ceded operations
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis techniques
• Experience working in agile environments using tools such as Azure DevOps
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and produce clear documentation
• Skills in process analysis and quality assurance for business-critical scenarios
