Foods, MarketingHUL Foods' business is placing a big bet on Knorr to drive double-digit growth for the future. We are in the midst of portfolio transformation and are going beyond soups in a big way. We have entered the future-fit and growing categories of International Sauces & Korean Noodles, and we plan to scale this up in the coming years. Our vision is to transform from a primarily soup play to scratch cooking by building an international cuisine space in India. We have started investing in portfolio transformation and expanding into high-margin and high-growth spaces. We are also aggressively driving a premiumization agenda to cater to the growing affluence of India Alpha and will be entering new segments like RTEs and seasonings.

Key Responsibilities

The role encompasses brand crafting across advertising, product development, innovation, and packaging for the Knorr portfolio.
  • Mine deep consumer insights and lead the development of the product mix.
  • Collaborate with R&D to convert consumer insights into unmissable product superiority.
  • Work in an integrated team comprising R&D, Packaging, Supply Chain (SUIT, Demand Planning, sourcing, and purchase teams), factory, and customer marketing to land innovation networks.
  • Work closely with the creative agencies to deliver advertising on Knorr BCI that wins with consumers and impacts business.
  • Deliver unmissable KV’s and POSM to win in channels.
  • Translate the Global BVI into a range architecture on packaging for the brand.
  • Define and land a future-fit portfolio across relevant benefit platforms that is accretive to the current business.

  • Influencing & collaboration skills – the role requires working closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business) and creative agencies.
  • The person should have a passion for innovation.
  • Needs a self-driven approach; the person should take ownership from inception to execution.

Experience

  • MBA/Master’s degree from Tier 1, Tier 2 B-school.
  • Mandatory marketing experience demonstrating strategic thinking and tangible results.
  • Bonus points for prior Brand Development experience.
  • Overall years of experience should be at least 5 years. Can be across sales & marketing.
