Senior Backend Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Enhance existing and/or develop new software that enables the launch of new enterprise software products, functionality and services with various web technologies.
• Enhance and follow software guidelines, UI design patterns and style guides.
• Work with the other software development team members when coordinating on large projects.
• Translate requirements into software in line with project vision.
• Participate in the definition of both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
• Participate and contribute in sprint planning, demo and retrospective.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
  

What You’ll Need

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years’ experience with Backend web-based applications is required.
• Experience in Backend Technologies like
• Technical: JAVA 6+, Sprint Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, AWS Cloud Services like VPC, Route 53, ECR, EC2, RDS, Cloudwatch with basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JAVA script is required.
• Tools: IntelliJ, Bitbucket, Git Bash/GUI Tortoise SVN, OpenLens, MYSQL Workbench, postman, putty, WINSCP, Confluence, RALLY, JIRA, JENKINS, Visual Studio Code
• Database: MySQL
• OS: Windows, Linux
• Knowledge in RESTful web services.
• Thorough Working knowledge of Document Object Model (DOM)
• Good understanding of Agile development, UML, SDL and CMM.
