Senior Backend Developer

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role for a developer who must have expertise across Python (FastAPI), Angular, Node.js, and Ruby on Rails (RoR). While the main focus will be on Python FastAPI backend development, the candidate should be comfortable working across the full stack, integrating frontend and other backend frameworks, and collaborating closely with product and AI teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services using Python FastAPI, while also leveraging Node.js and RoR as needed.

• Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular to ensure smooth integration.

• Build and optimize microservices architectures.

• Integrate AI/ML models into backend workflows.

• Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

• Follow best practices in coding, testing, and deployment (Docker, CI/CD).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Experience integrating AI/ML models into backend systems.

• Knowledge of GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven architectures.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development.

• Must have expertise across all of the following:

o Python (FastAPI) – primary focus

o Angular – frontend integration

o Node.js – backend services

o Ruby on Rails (RoR) – backend development

• Proficiency in RESTful API design, microservices, and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Candidates must be based in Delhi NCR.
