About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic tech team at HOOQX. The ideal candidate must have more than 2–3 years of hands-on experience in backend development, server-side logic, API integration, and database management. The candidate should be capable of building scalable, high-performance web applications and collaborating closely with front-end developers and designers to deliver complete solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Manage and optimize database performance, ensuring data security and efficiency.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement server-side logic, authentication, and authorization.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Ensure the backend architecture supports scalability and performance goals.

Required Technical Skills

• Programming Languages: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, PHP, or similar.
• Frameworks: Express.js, Laravel, Django (any one or more).
• Database Management: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• API Development: RESTful APIs, GraphQL (preferred).
• Version Control: Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Server Management: AWS, cPanel, Nginx, Apache.
• Authentication & Security: JWT, OAuth, data encryption, and secure coding practices.
• Tools & Platforms: Docker, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Additional Skills: Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React.js) is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and meet project deadlines.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications will be an added advantage.

Salary

• Competitive salary package based on experience and interview performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
