We are seeking a skilled Backend Automation Engineer with a strong focus on API testing to
join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites specifically for our backend APIs. The ideal candidate has a solid background in software development, testing methodologies, API testing techniques, and automation tools.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend automation testing, with a strong emphasis on API testing.• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.• Experience with API test automation frameworks and tools such as RestAssured, Postman, or SoapUI.• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services, including HTTP methods, request/response structures, and authentication mechanisms.• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.• Familiarity with database testing and SQL.• Experience with version control systems such as Git.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
