Senior Automation Quality Analyst

Responsibilities Android and iOS app automation in Appium and/or Katalon Studio. Web automation in Selenium. API testing in Postman and/or REST Assured. Performance testing in JMeter. Test framework in TestNG and/or Junit. Programming language Java. Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Integrating automation with CI/CD (Jenkins or Azure). Version control with Azure, GitHub, or GitLab. Cloud technologies like AWS or Azure. Designs limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of end-user application software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and develop testing strategies. Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines. Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the assigned portion of the application. Identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements. Participates as a member of project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystem. Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution. Well-versed with AGILE/SCRUM methodologies. Using software applications, design tools, and languages. Designing software applications running on multiple platform types. Software applications testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Requirements Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate design proposals and negotiate options. Strong experience in Test automation framework design and test case automation using Selenium, Apium, JMeter, Java, TestNG, REST. Optional - Python, shell scripting. Exposure to cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes technologies will be an advantage. Exposure to Performance and Scalability testing, Software Security testing will be added advantage.
