Senior Automation Quality Analyst

Overview

The Microsoft D365 Automation Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Dynamics 365 applications (particularly CRM modules) through automation and manual testing. The role requires strong collaboration with clients, business analysts, developers, and multiple cross-functional teams to validate end-to-end business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Client & Stakeholder Interaction

• Act as the primary QA point of contact for client discussions and daily coordination.
  
• Understand business workflows and translate them into test scenarios.
  
• Drive testing discussions, provide progress updates, and highlight risks or blockers proactively.
  

• Test Planning & Strategy

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases for Microsoft D365 CRM.
  
• Identify test automation opportunities across CRM modules, integrations, and APIs.
  
• Ensure testing aligns with sprint goals and release timelines.
  

• Automation Testing

• Design, build, and execute automated test scripts using

  Selenium

  ,

  Playwright

  , or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop automation frameworks for web and API testing.
  
• Maintain reusable components and ensure CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test runs.
  

• Functional & Integration Testing

• Conduct end-to-end testing of D365 CRM functionalities, including Sales, Marketing, F&O, Customer Service, and Field Service.
• Validate integration points with external systems (APIs, Azure services, data interfaces).
• Perform regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  

• Defect Management & Reporting

• Log, track, and prioritize defects in

  JIRA

  or similar tools.
• Provide detailed defect analysis and coordinate with development teams for resolution.
• Prepare QA metrics, test summaries, and dashboards for management review.
  

• API and Performance Testing

• Perform API validation using tools such as

  Postman

  ,

  Rest Assured

  SoapUI

• Conduct performance and load testing when applicable.
  

• Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and release managers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation maturity.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 - 7 years of testing experience with at least 2+ years in

  Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/ F&O

• Hands-on experience with

• Proficiency in

• Strong understanding of
