Job Title: Senior Industrial Automation Trainer

Location: Remote

Job type: Part-time


Job Summary:

Industrial Automation Trainer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions (theoretical & practical) on

    PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Drives, and Industrial Communication Protocols

    .
  • Develop and update training modules, course content, and assessments aligned with the latest automation technologies.
  • Provide

    hands-on demonstrations

    using real-time industrial setups or simulation software.
  • Mentor trainees in

    troubleshooting, programming, and system integration

    for automation applications.
  • Collaborate with industry partners and internal teams to ensure training aligns with

    current industrial standards and practices

    .
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct refresher training for maintenance and production teams on

    control systems, sensors, and industrial safety

    .
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies in

    IIoT, Industry 4.0, and Smart Manufacturing

    and integrate them into training modules.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or Delta).
  • Experience in

    SCADA/DCS configuration

    and

    industrial networking (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)

    .
  • Familiarity with

    Instrumentation, Control Panels, Sensors, and Actuators

    .
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse learners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong documentation and curriculum development ability.
  • Exposure to

    Automation Project Implementation and Maintenance

    in industrial environments (e.g., Manufacturing, Process Plants, FMCG, Automotive, etc.)


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in

    Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering

    .
  • Certification in Industrial Automation (preferred).
  • Proven track record of

    training engineers or technicians

    in industrial automation topics.
