Job Description

Role Overview: As an Insurance Counselor at DBS, your primary role is to be the local insurance specialist for Bancassurance Business, enabling the insurance objectives of the cluster/CBG branch location allocated to you. You will be directly responsible for achieving the insurance revenue target for the branch/cluster. Key Responsibilities: - Accountable for achieving monthly & annual Banca sales targets, including New Business revenues, Renewal income target, and General Insurance revenue target. - Ensure proper implementation & execution of the insurance strategy for the branch, including sourcing of Insurance proposals through the Tablet application. - Identify prospect lists with RMs based on the monthly strategy through joint sitting with TLs. - Work with Team Leaders and Micro Marketing Managers to execute business development activities aimed at generating insurance prospects and converting them into clients. - Drive sales spread between products mix to maximize revenue earnings and create a sustainable revenue flow through renewals. - Increase insurance penetration through cross-selling and up-selling of insurance products. - Improve customer service levels and achieve a CSS score of 4.20 or above for insurance products. - Ensure persistency by timely collection of renewal premium and effective client contact management. - Resolve client complaints on insurance and escalate to the insurer through the Bancassurance team. - Ensure regulatory compliance by timely IRDA Certification & Renewal of Certificates of sales staff.
