Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior People Operations Associate at Good Business Lab (GBL), you will play a crucial role in fostering a people-first culture and supporting the growth and scale of the organization. Your responsibilities will include shaping the people strategy at GBL, embedding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and ensuring a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment for all team members. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of GBL's DEI strategic initiatives. - Design and implement DEI training programs focusing on unconscious bias, cultural competence, and inclusive leadership. - Drive inclusive hiring practices through structured interviews, anti-bias training, and accommodations. - Facilitate engagement among GBL alumni and current team members to build a strong community. - Establish partnerships with diversity-focused groups to promote inclusivity. - Shape and maintain inclusive internal communications within the organization. - Ensure accessibility, communication, and integration of policies such as the Culture Handbook, Inclusive Communications Workplace Guide, and Reasonable Accommodation. - Document, implement, digitize, and improve processes related to the team member lifecycle. - Enhance people processes including onboarding, engagement initiatives, mentorship programs, and offboarding to provide equitable and inclusive experiences. - Stay updated on market trends to position GBL as an employer of choice and recommend operational solutions to enhance the team member experience. - Undertake any additional tasks that may arise based on the evolving needs of the organization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in related majors such as Human Resources (HR), Industrial Psychology, or Business Management. Applicants from diverse educational backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in People Operations, HR, DEI, internal communications, or employee engagement. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent problem-solving, prioritizing, and organizational skills. - Analytical ability to derive insights from feedback and surveys. - Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
