Senior Associate - IT

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, tech-savvy Senior Associate IT to join our core team. This is an individual contributor role where you'll take full ownership of IT systems, infrastructure, and support across the organization. From managing hardware and software assets to ensuring secure and efficient operations using tools like JumpCloud, you will play a key role in keeping our tech backbone solid and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track all IT assets including laptops, desktops, routers, and peripherals.
• Oversee setup and maintenance of office internet, VPN, and server infrastructure.
• Create and manage email IDs and access controls for new joiners and leavers.
• Provide hands-on support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Own and maintain IT inventory and procurementliaise with vendors for sourcing and repairs.
• Maintain uptime, troubleshoot outages, and support system upgrades and patches.
• Deploy and manage JumpCloud for user identity, device management, and endpoint security.
• Maintain and document IT procedures, onboarding/offboarding checklists, and support FAQs.
• Collaborate with Ops and HR teams to streamline IT support during onboarding/offboarding.
• Stay updated on latest IT and security best practices suitable for a scaling startup.

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably in a startup environment.
• Proven experience managing both Mac, Windows, and Ubuntu/Linux systems.
• Working knowledge of JumpCloud or similar security/ID management platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, server infrastructure, and device management.
• Experience handling vendor coordination and asset procurement.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
