Job Description

Education/Experience and Skills Requirement:

4–6 years of experience in quantitative analysis, including financial spreading and modelling, trading comps, transactions comps, benchmarking, company profiling, and capital structure and debt analysis.
CFA, Chartered Accountant, MBA or M.Com from a top-tier business school.
Experience with key databases (Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Merger Market, Debtwire, Factiva, etc.).
Should have proficiency in MS Office (primarily Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Dedicated and motivated individual with a proven track record of academic excellence; strong leadership and project management skills; and well-developed analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities:

Supporting clients to develop results-driven strategies, which include financial spreading and modelling, critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments through in-depth research.
Assisting clients with detailed financial spreading and writing tear sheets (company description, industry overview/outlook) including market sizing, investment research, valuation (using DCF, trading comps and transactions comps), and M&A and LBO models.
Benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters (KPIs) to understand industry growth and profitability.
Conducting trading and transaction comparable analysis; evaluating financial statements/analysis; and performing credit research, including debt analysis, covenant monitoring, cash flow conversion and capital structure evaluation.
Interacting with senior professionals at private equity firms and corporations.
