Job Description:
Infosys Ltd. is looking for success-oriented people for its Presales and Bid Management team.
Purpose of the Role:
Carry out research and analysis for specific prospects / pursuits, create and collate content for proposals, program manage small pursuits, support in creating estimation models, create and maintain knowledge artifacts, conduct research activities, assist in visit management WITH the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to the customer WITHIN the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Prospecting The Associate Consultant will conduct research and data gathering exercise for specific prospects / pursuit and create solutions based on the analysis. S/He will assist or create collaterals for pro-active pitches to identify business opportunities and arrive at innovative proposition, in order to identify pain points of the prospects and map services across Infosys to address those pain points and assist with appropriate information for lead generation. 2. Pursuit The Associate Consultant will create pursuit plan and response plan for small sized proposals in the practice for specific service offering. He/she will be responsible for the pricing/estimation for the pursuit. Associate Consultant will coordinate and contribute in customization of collaterals, case studies and any other supporting documents for the specific response, drive and contribute on solutions and approach, procure the approval from various authorities (Senior Management, DAG (Deal Advisory Group), High Risk, Legal, OCM, QD, as required), identify and upload re-usable content from the response/oral presentations in order to deliver the appropriate response for small size pursuits and deliver appropriate response to sections / parts of large / complex deals.
3. Knowledge Management
The Associate Consultant will create re-usable content that includes solutions across sub-sectors of a vertical leveraging Infosys IP, solutions and frameworks and maintain the central repository of artifacts. S/He will follow-up with Unit Delivery teams for latest case studies / collaterals, contribute to the Infosys Ltd.
4. Research and Analysis
The Associate Consultant will develop Industry-specific reports as per the publishing calendar, competitive intelligence reports, and company analysis reports as per the Target Account List, generate reports on a periodic basis and create Win-loss analysis report in order to assist with appropriate information for differentiation with respect to competition and continuous improvement.
5. Visit Management
The Associate Consultant will assist in developing the visit experience, developing the messaging during the visit, assisting in developing the agenda based on the client's visit objectives, getting commitments from the right participants for the visit, collating and providing all the critical documents (presentations / artifacts etc.) as required for the visit. S/He will organize review meeting with participants and the logistics for the visit. S/He will provide support during the visit including taking care of ad-hoc requests and noting down the minutes and participate in the analysis of client visits in order to assist in successful visit management.
6. People Management
The Associate Consultant will manage virtual teams involving multiple units in order to create content for a particular part of a pursuit and activities like client / prospect meetings, analyst relation meetings, etc. Knowledge, Skills required for the role Knowledge: Software Engineering processes, Knowledge of any one technology, estimation methodology, Market intelligence and analysis, industry knowledge and organizational processes.
