Job Description

As a Travel Desk Manager at Milliman, your role is crucial in ensuring seamless local, domestic, and international travel arrangements for the team in India. Your highly organized and proactive approach will be instrumental in managing travel operations effectively and meeting the needs of the team. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the travel desk to process all travel requests (domestic and international) efficiently. - Provide support for visa processing by liaising with travel agencies and consulates to ensure smooth approvals. - Manage hotel bookings, negotiate rates, and ensure accommodations align with company policies and traveler needs. - Respond to travel inquiries promptly, offering clear and comprehensive information on flights, car rentals, hotels, and tours. - Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, vendors, and service providers for high-quality service delivery. - Create detailed travel itineraries, including costing of tours, and coordinate bookings with suppliers for seamless travel experiences. - Coordinate car and driver services, ensuring timely and reliable transportation for travelers. - Collaborate with hotel and front desks to facilitate smooth arrivals and departures for visitors to India. - Prepare and maintain all travel documents, including itineraries, trackers, invoices, and reports. - Provide admin support for other day-to-day tasks, events, and initiatives. Key Qualifications: - Minimum of five years of experience managing a travel desk in a corporate setting, handling both domestic and international travel coordination. - High availability and flexibility required to manage urgent or last-minute travel requests in a dynamic work environment. - Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms with service providers and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Solid understanding of travel logistics, including visa processes, hotel bookings, car rentals, and vendor coordination. - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple travel requests effectively. - Familiarity with travel management software and tools to enhance operational efficiency. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and vendors.,
