About the Role:

Associate Director – Legal Compliance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Risk Management

• Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals reporting to Director/VP.
• Drive initiatives in risk, legal compliance, and financial crime prevention.

2. Training & Capability Development

• Enhance existing training programs beyond standard compliance modules.
• Identify new training areas aligned with global business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective learning and adoption.

3. Sanctions Advisory

• Provide guidance on sanctions regulations across jurisdictions.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and translate into actionable advisories for business units.

4. SOPs & Policy Framework

• Draft, review, and update policies and SOPs to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate policies into operational processes.

5. Transformation & Process Re-engineering

• Lead digital transformation initiatives in compliance processes, AML screening, and third-party risk management.
• Drive process improvement and change management initiatives across the compliance function.
