Key Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Lead architecture and design discussions.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Stay updated with the latest Android trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Experience with Jetpack components (Compose, ViewModel, LiveData, Navigation).
• Solid understanding of the Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge of dependency injection (e.g., Dagger/Hilt), MVVM architecture, and clean code principles.
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Espresso.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or other cross-platform frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Published at least one app in the Play Store.
• Knowledge of security and data protection best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹300,000.00 per month
