Description
As a Workday Configuration Specialist at Okta, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features/functionality. Your responsibilities will include: - Helping the team ensure data accuracy and seamless ongoing enhancements of new Workday features/functionality - Serving as the primary point of contact for data gathering, testing, and communication with key stakeholders and internal Business Systems teams - Understanding business requirements, configuring the Workday solution, demonstrating the configurations through the development of testing systems, and assisting the business in testing the Workday solution - Leading the configuration of Workday Talent, Performance, and Benefits, and providing support during Annual Events such as Semi-Annual Talent/Performance, Open Enrollment, ACA, etc. - Building Talent and Performance modules, configuring business processes, and identifying system requirements to support future state business processes - Providing hands-on training to cross-functional teams to broaden internal knowledge of Workday configuration - Building reports to support both domestic and international areas of the Workday product - Managing Workday upgrades and implementing new and revised functionality within Workday - Designing, building, testing, and deploying Workday integrations using EIBs, Core Connectors, and Report as a Service (RaaS) Qualifications required for this role include: - 7+ years of Workday overall HCM experience - 4+ years of experience configuring and supporting Workday Benefits and Talent - Proficiency in Workday HCM and working knowledge of Benefits, Talent, Security Administration, Business Process Configuration, and Report Writer - Ability and desire to learn and expand expertise in new areas of Workday - Strong project management skills, analytical abilities, multitasking capabilities, and interpersonal skills - Exceptional communication skills with both technical and business audiences Preferred skills for this role include: - Workday Integrations experience - Experience with EIBs and calculated fields - Hands-on experience developing and enhancing custom reports and dashboards in SaaS or enterprise systems Additionally, this role requires in-person onboarding and travel to the Bengaluru, IN office during the first week of employment.
