Job Description

1. Plan and Execute Ads on Quick Commerce Platforms

  • Set up and run advertising campaigns on platforms like

    Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and BigBasket

    .
  • Choose the right products, offers, and creative formats (banners, product listings, carousels).
  • Align campaigns with consumer demand (e.g. iced coffee in summer, hot chocolate in winter).

2. Drive Sales Through Ads

  • Focus on

    conversion-driven campaigns

    aim to increase product orders, not just impressions.
  • Create offers, discounts, or bundles that encourage impulse buys on quick commerce apps.
  • Monitor which ads are pushing sales and optimize accordingly.

3. Analyze and Optimize Performance

  • Track key metrics:

    impressions, click-through rate (CTR), conversions, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)

    .
  • Use data from ad dashboards or internal reports to find whats working and whats not.
  • Make adjustments to campaigns weekly or even daily to boost performance.

4. Coordinate with Quick Commerce Platform Teams

  • Work directly with category or ad managers at Blinkit, Zepto, etc. to:
  • Secure premium placements (home page banners, spotlight sections).
  • Understand platform-specific trends, promotions, and insights.
  • Schedule campaigns during high-traffic times (festivals, weekends, paydays).

5. Manage Product Listings

  • Ensure product titles, images, descriptions, and tags are accurate and optimized.
  • Regularly update listings for seasonal promotions or new launches.
  • Fix visibility issues (e.g. missing product thumbnails, incorrect categories).

6. Work With Creative Team for Ad Assets

  • Brief the internal design team or external agency to create

    banners, hero images, thumbnails

    .
  • Make sure creative assets are delivered on time, meet platform specs, and highlight offers.
  • A/B test creatives when possible to see which designs drive more sales.

7. Handle Budgets, Calendars & Timelines

  • Allocate ad spend wisely across products and platforms.
  • Create a weekly/monthly plan of campaigns with expected goals.
  • Stick to platform deadlines and campaign submission cut-offs.

8. Monitor Inventory & Ensure Stock Availability

  • Coordinate with the supply team to make sure promoted products are in stock.
  • Avoid running ads on SKUs that are low or out of stock this wastes budget.
  • Prioritize high-margin or high-volume SKUs in ad campaigns.

9. Track Competitor Activity

  • Keep an eye on what other brands are doing on Blinkit, Zepto, etc.
  • Benchmark pricing, offers, and placements.
  • Suggest counter-strategies to outperform competing products.

10. Report & Share Learnings

  • Send regular reports on ad performance to management.
  • Highlight wins, issues, and suggestions for the next round of campaigns.
  • Use insights to improve results month over month.
