Senior Admissions Counselor

Role Overview: As a Student Counsellor, your main responsibility will be to guide students who are looking to pursue higher education abroad. You will need to understand their goals, interests, and academic background in order to provide them with end-to-end counselling on admission procedures, visa processes, immigration regulations, and university requirements. Additionally, you will address any challenges faced by students during the admission process and offer suitable solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Guide students aspiring to study abroad by understanding their goals, interests, and academic background. - Provide end-to-end counselling on admission procedures, visa processes, immigration regulations, and university requirements. - Assess student profiles and suggest suitable universities/programs based on their academic, financial, and career aspirations. - Contribute to the recruitment of students interested in studying abroad by identifying new opportunities and building relationships. - Actively engage on social media platforms to educate and inform prospective students about overseas education opportunities. - Efficiently use the company's CRM system to manage student records, track progress, and ensure seamless communication. - Stay informed about changes in admission procedures, visa policies, and immigration rules. - Represent the company in international visits to partnered universities and events, strengthening business relationships. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters degree in any discipline (preferably related to education or counselling). - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in overseas education counselling or a similar role. - Strong understanding of admissions, visa procedures, and immigration regulations. - Proficiency in profile-based university short listing. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in CRM applications and basic knowledge of social media marketing. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
