Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Administrative Officer, located in Dehradun. The Sr AO will be responsible for managing daily administrative tasks of the school, ensuring efficient housekeeping, engineering, safety & security services and will conduct routine inspections of the school infrastructure, HVAC, power backup systems, and structural components, etc. The Sr AO will also supervise and manage maintenance contracts, including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive AMC (CAMC) for critical equipment and shall maintain a routine liaison with the vendors.


This role demands expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, fire safety, HVAC, sewage treatment plant (STP), diesel generators (DG), and building management systems (BMS). The Sr. Manager must lead a team to uphold operational excellence, maximize asset life cycles, and ensure compliance with statutory norms while maintaining the overall administration of the school campus.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Civil) or Postgraduate Degree in Facilities/Operations Management.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, Facility Management, Property Management.
  • Expertise in technical facility management (HVAC, STP, DG, BMS, MEP) and fire & life safety systems.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, risk management, security, and emergency response protocols.
  • Vendor & Budget Management expertise.
  • Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management Skills.
  • Previous experience in school administration is preferred
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures is a plus
