Job Description

Senior Accounts Executive – Roles & Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Ensure all accounting entries are properly documented and supported.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure timely closure of books.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and collection processes.
  • Verify vendor invoices, process payments, and manage vendor accounts.
  • Track customer payments, follow up on outstanding dues, and reconcile accounts.

3. GST & TDS Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) within statutory timelines.
  • Reconcile GST input credit with GSTR-2B and maintain proper documentation.
  • Calculate and deduct TDS on applicable transactions as per Income Tax Act.
  • Prepare and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.) and issue TDS certificates.
  • Maintain proper records for GST and TDS audits.

4. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for periodic audits.
  • Provide all required audit schedules and reconciliations on time.

5. Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget utilization and perform variance analysis.
  • Provide management with financial insights for decision-making.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements for better efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies.

7. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with finance managers, department heads, and external consultants.
  • Support management with financial data for strategic planning.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and banks.

8. Team Support & Mentoring

  • Guide junior accountants and ensure accuracy in their work.
  • Train team members on accounting processes, GST, and TDS compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
