Senior Accounts (Construction Industry)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting project-specific accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to construction projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor budgets and forecasts for various construction projects.
• Assist in project costing, variance analysis, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate with site engineers/project managers for cost control and material billing.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
• Maintain asset register and depreciation schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a construction or infrastructure company.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of project-based accounting and construction-related taxation.
• Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications: B.Com / M.Com

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
