Key responsibilities

🔴 Handle daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations

🔴 Ensure compliance with GST, ESI, PF and other statutory regulations

🔴 Prepare financial statements and reports for management

🔴 Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions

🔴 Maintain and update accurate financial records using Tally, Busy or other ERP software

🔴 Coordinate with internal teams regarding accounting matters

🔴 Ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory returns and compliance reports

🔴 Provide assistance during audits and prepare necessary documentation

🔴 Work independently to meet deadlines and ensure smooth operations

Skills and qualifications

🔴 Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role

🔴 In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and statutory regulations

🔴 Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, such as Tally, Busy or ERP systems

🔴 Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various teams

🔴 Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy

🔴 Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

🔴 Prior experience in the publication industry is a plus
