Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, with strong expertise in GST and TDS filing, Tally ERP operations, and day-to-day financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end accounting operations using Tally ERP.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) on a timely basis.
• Calculate and file TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q), and manage TDS payments and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports, MIS statements, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to accounting and taxation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in improving internal controls and financial processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Tally ERP (mandatory)
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws and filing procedures
• Experience in TDS computation, deduction, and return filing
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Excellent Excel and MS Office skills
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent)
• Certification in Tally, GST, or related financial courses is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
