This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Kolkata. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include budget preparation, monitoring expenditures, tax compliance, and ensuring accurate and timely closing of monthly and annual accounts.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
Experience with financial reporting and budget preparation
Proficiency in accounting software,Tally and Excel.
Must know Gst filling
Experience in ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and tax compliance
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in import/export documentatio
