Senior Accountant (Offshore)

Role Description

Lead review & preparation of compilations and tax returns; oversee offshore team; ensure quality and timeliness in collaboration with onshore CPA team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review & prepare compilation financial statements and T2,T3010, T5013 returns.
• Review GST/HST, T-slip reconciliations, investment summaries.
• Investigate & resolve discrepancies.
• Summarize client financials.
• Lead & mentor offshore team.
• Collaborate with onshore team.
• Drive process improvements.

Collaboration with Onshore

Frequent coordination to align deliverables and ensure compliance with firm standards.

Leadership

Directly manage offshore team; ensure productivity, accuracy, and training.

Skills & Tools

Caseware, TaxPrep, Profile, QuickBooks, MS Office. Strong Canadian accounting & tax knowledge. Leadership & review skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master’s in Commerce.
• MBA/Diploma preferred.
• 5–7 years relevant experience with leadership

Communication & Client Service

Strong written English; offshore service experience
