Role & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant at ExlPro Advisory Private Limited, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Bookkeeping & Accounting:

  Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting activities, including ledger entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.

• Leading a Team of Accountants

• Finalization and Analysis of Financials:

  Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements for internal and external purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Preparation and Filing of Returns:

  Handle the preparation and timely filing of GST and TDS returns, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

• Statutory & Tax Audit Support:

  Assist with statutory and tax audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation is provided and supporting the audit process.

• Reconciliations:

  Prepare reconciliations for various accounts according to business requirements, ensuring that all discrepancies are resolved and recorded accurately.

Qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) | MBA Finance

Professional Experience:

• CA Firm Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a CA firm or similar environment, with exposure to handling audits and taxation.
• Accounting Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ZohoBooks, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
